Reworking "Evening Story"
The painting's composition seemed wrong to me - the focal point was too centred, and there wasn't anything I could do with the empty left side. So I decided to cut the painting down and re-stretch it. A little drastic, but I couldn't figure how else to correct the problem.Thursday, July 8, 2010
Storytime
This painting is 18 x 24 inches, oil on canvas ... my daughter Lucy likes to look at picture books in our living room at the end of the day.
